keating with two husbands?

Can any one guide me on how to look for marriage certificates for Northern Ireland. I have a James Keating (Born 1850) married in 1876 to Ann Jane Mcnulty, his father is listed on the marriage cert as James Keating deceased. ( mother is Ann Fitzsimmons.) I took a look at James sister Ann's marriage certificate(Born 1847) and they have the same mother but her father is a Christopher Keating also listed as deceased.
How is it possible for a mother to have two children three years apart, with two different husbands with the same surname.

I thought if I found the marriage certificate or even death certificates it might shed some light on things.

It it possible that the father's name was James Christopther or Christopher James?

Or she could have married the brother after her husband died. Would mean she was incredibly unlucky but it happens.
