Wonder why on Leonard's military memorial its stated "Son of Lily Kenney, of Port Elizabeth, Cape Province, South Africa" She must have moved there at a later date.

A Mrs L Kenney aged 52 (born 1882) of 78 Bernice? Street, Leicester departed London in 1934 bound for Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

To add to my last post in 1926 a Mr J F Kenney of 78 Bemers? Street, Leicester, born 1884, a Shoemaker's Foreman left Southampton bound for Port Elizabeth.

I cannot make out the name of the street on either entry other than it begins Be.
