Kenward is a surname that is found in Sussex mainly. I have come across many Kenwards whilst doing my own Sussex ancestors.

The link below is to 'Familia' Kent County Council Gravesend and have the address, email to the Principal Library/Family History Resources. If the Harold Thane Kenward at the Childrens home in Milton Gravesned Kent is the same then they may have some records or point you in the right direction. Have your purchased Harolds marriage certificate to see if if gives his fathers name and occupation.

The only record I have is Grandfather's Birth paper's, thats how I found out his parent's name's, BD,DDs.

Sorry I meant Harold Thane Kenward and Edith's marriage certificate, which would give you the fathers names and occupations. Certificates can be purchased online at seven pounds sterling from the 'Home Office' Identity and Passport Service, see link below, you will need to register and have the marriage information ready which will be, name, district, vol number, page number and the quarter the marriage took place. I think I gave you the information before, but double check it either via Ancestry you have the link or free BMD.
