well there's corn beef sales hitting the roof. They will wonder why there is a sudden surge. All down to a Family History posting. My grandad loved Bully beef. Most of the troops in WW1 moaned about it but he looked forward to it.

I have read that it was given to the troops. If i mentioned it to my kids they wouldnt know what i was talking about.

I love Corned Beef, i like all the 'old' stuff like that.

I've been onto Gibbo, about Corned Beef hash casserole, she don't know what she's missed.:biggrin:

Oh well, can't be liked by all.:)

My Dad used to go on about 'bully beef' during WW2, he liked it, but he did say after you've been eating the stuff for months.....it got a bit boring to say the least.:biggrin:
