Thanks for sharing, Dave. That's interesting.
You might be interested to read up one of our ancestors if you haven't already (apologies if you already know about this). My grandmother Mary Hannington married into the Kilner family. Her direct descendants are the Bowman - Macarthur line. John & Elizabeth Macarthur were pioneers in Australia and introduced merino sheep into the country (John was once featured on our $2 note before they changed that currency to a coin). Elizabeth Macarthur was much more impressive in my opinion though - you can read about her in Michelle Scott Tucker's book, "Elizabeth Macarthur: A Life at the Edge of the World". A really fascinating story of that time period (i.e. the late 18th and early 19th Centuries).
