Whilst looking through my parish registers, I came upon this entry.

Burial - 28 Jan. 1820 - George 3rd aged 81, 60yrs of his reign - George 4th. 1 month.

I wonder what this means. ?

He didn't die until the 29th. so if he was buried on the 28th, no wonder he was dead.

It must be a misprint Steve?

Reminds me of the time the tv reporter at Abe Lincolns grave says to a redneck.....excuse me sir..exactly why is Abraham Lincoln buried in this spot....the reply...cos he died..........brilliant!

But why would it be in the parish registers for Princes Risborough, Bucks in the first place.
