Could someone please help me and look up Margaret Knight born The Bourne,
Farnham 1846/47 on the 1851 census. Her fathers name was William and
mothers name Elizabeth (I am trying to track down her mothers maiden name so I am getting as much info on the family as I can. I am hoping to go to Farnham this summer but as I live in Rossendale its a bit difficult to get to the registery office.

Many thanks
(PS don't know what I would do without this site IT"S GREAT)

From which I would guess that William Knight and Elizabeth Knight married around 1837...how about the 8th June 1837, in Farnham (IGI).

There were 109 people in Farnham called Knight in 1851, out of 7,262 in the census (at least 13 families), so Knight may have been her maiden name too.
