Laddie Adamson

north ayrshire
Name: Laddie Adamson
Baptism Date: 11 Nov 1617
Parish: Leeds, St Peter (Leeds Parish Church)
Father's Name: William Adamson

Could someone look the record up for me either Ancestry or FMP

fs has it transcribed as Larance Pawson son of Nicolas Pawson 11 November 1617

Certainly looks more like Larance Pawson than Laddie Adamson to me.

Also down as Lawrence Pawson on FreeReg

That's Freereg.
Fs and Ancestry have Laddie Adamson..As you may have guessed this would be a place breaker for me. I have the Adamsons in Horsforth 1500's with a hamlet called Little SCOTLAND.
fmp has 24 Pawsons baptised Leeds between 1600 and 1620 but not a single Adamson

FreeReg has lots of Pawsons baptised but the first Adamson baptism is 1724

Checking for Adamson in Horsforth there are only two which appear on fmp, FreeReg and fs

Thomas bapt. 16 December 1627 father Gabriell

Thomas bapt. 2 November 1628 father Thomas

If you look for the one baptised 1627 on fs then click on the family tree symbol on the right 0of the entry, someone has added a few more details. Can't say if they are correct or not.

Yes this is the 2nd Gabriell ,born I believe to Gabriell Adamson the Elder . Trouble is early bapts (Abt 10)does not give a fathers Name. The tree you found is part of mine. I have the records for Horsforth Guisley .There is also a Adamson Flatts in Horsforth at that time ,what it was I have no idea.If you click on the film number then go back and put in Adamson ,they all will come up.
