Hello cp,

Elizabeth LEAR

married 14 Sep 1859 Abbots Leigh (Holy Trinity), Somerset

Joseph PEACOCK

I don't know which Elizabeth and which Joseph so I won't give year of birth. I can add that both were born / baptised in Gloucester or Somerset. It may not be the Joseph in my tree. If it is it's a late marriage or a 2nd marriage. It will be interesting to see what the census listing says.

Please see if you can find them in 1861. Thanks.

Regards,

Dave

Hello cp,

Ok let's take this a step at a time.

Can we find James and spouse Ann as anything in 1871? Or Ann without James as LEAR or LEWTON?

Regards,

Dave

Hello cp,

Well. I think that is the straw.

James according to his death certificate arrived in Victoria about 1863.

Thanks.

I'd like to chase some more.

I can't match Alice Annie so let's do Emily first.

Please see if you can find Emily and Edwin ADLAM in 1871. Thanks.

Regards,

Dave

Hello cp,

Thanks.

Now is HORWOOD correct? I can't find Ann HORWOOD b. abt 1827 with same parents (or any parents).

This is the only one I can find that fits but I can't find a birth for Ann 1824-1828. No children in 1841 census.

Marriages Dec 1840
HORWOOD Ann Keynsham 11 134
LEAR James Keynsham 11 134

Dave

Hello cp,

Thank you very much.

That seems to be Martha traced back. It said 'sister' and place of birth fits - listed as Hanham or Kingswood.

I can't see a birth for a Martha HAWES that fits the census date and place.

Any sign of Thomas & Sarah HORWOOD in 1841?

This would fit but it's Ann not Sarah.

groom's name: Thomas Horwood
groom's birth date:
groom's birthplace:
groom's age:
bride's name: Ann Sealey
bride's birth date:
bride's birthplace:
bride's age:
marriage date: 10 Jun 1821
marriage place: St. Philip And St. Jacob'S Church, Bristol, Gloucester

Deaths Jun 1847
Horwood Thomas Bristol 11 122

I wonder what chance HAWES & HORWOOD could be confused. ???

Regards,

Dave
