Leigh family

#1
I am trying to trace my cousin's family of Leigh.
So far, I have the following:

John Leigh D 1728 married Elizabeth Valentine.
children: John B c1711 D 1786
Peter B c 1726 D1779 (of Worsely, Weaver)
Betty B1722 D1761
Ann B1714
James B c1719 D1787
George B c 1721 D1783

James married twice, 1st wife unknown, but children of this marriage are:
Betty B c1742 D1807
James B c1745 D1828
Alice B c 1749 D1827

Most of this family comes from the parishes of Eccles, Dean, Bolton and of Townships of Roe Green, Worsley, Drywood, Stannery Str, Little Houghton, and more recently from 1800's of Moor Lane, Swinton, Folly Lane, Monton, Eccles and Patricroft. The copy of family tree I am working on was written in 1863 and was researched from Old Deeds, Wills, Leases, Inscriptions and registers.

What I am trying to do is find a link between these Leigh's and the Leigh's of Stoneleigh Abbey. Can anyone help me out here?

Regards
Jackie
