Hi Lesley, you might have a few more half brothers and sisters!, my birth certificate shows my father to be a ernest major blakeborough he was born 1st June 1914 in leeds. he married my mother in dar es salaam tanzania in 1964, i know he had a previous marriage with two children, one was a girl dont know much more than that. He worked for lloyds of london and the east african railway company, overseeing the countrys construction of bridges and railway lines. He had a heart attack while deep sea diving in 1973 and died as a result. Had four kids with my mother, carol - myself, ernest (tosh) John and Fiona. Maybe we are both researching the same person. :)

Hi Carol
Wow we are half sisters! Our father was married to Alice Liversey and had Rita in 1942 followed by myself (not married to my mother!!) then Colin in 1945.
Colin died of Malaria in Lagos after their trek through the Sahara to Lagos.
Denise was born in Uganda.
Rita lives in Belgium. Denise in Wales and I live in North Yorkshire England.
I have just come back from a morning of teaching Guess what!!! Scuba diving.
I need to rush of now to give some lectures but cannot tell you how happy I am to have located you and we must keep in touch. I can give you lots of information on past family ie his brothers sisters etc
Regards
Lesley Gray
