Hi, my great grandad was in the RAF for WW2 and i know he went to Africa and I'm pretty sure he was based in the north of Africa. He is orginally from Birmingham i was wondering if anyone could track him down/come across him or his regiment history because i have had no luck anywhere. Thank you in advance if you know anything.

If it's any help, there are a few Leslie/E Smith in the E/R's 1945-1955 in the Birmingham area. Most of them look to include a spouse, if he married and you know his wife's first name it may be possible to get an address.
