Given the info in post #1 the arrival would have to be from 1843 or 1847..

Thomas died circa 1931 (not sure where)

Im assuming william victoria if i can find him

No trace whatsoever in Vic for Jane Ann, William, or Edwin.

No hints at all come up about them on either ancestry or myheritage

Do you have any trace of them in Australia at all and if so when and where?

Do you have Jane snr's death certificate? Im wondering if her kids were noted and if they are deceased or not when she died. Just thought it might help narrow dates down when looking for them.

Jane Sr died in 1899 under the surname Grimsdale. Her death certificate lists thomas, charles & eliza is listed as dead.

William, Jane & Edwin are not named at all. Either let off because they had died or other reasons

Her obit says she had 40 great grandkids, i havent even got close to that, so im assuming jane jr, william & edwin either got married or had partners

Just bear with me but i have some questions please.

Where did the info come from about the above kids been Jane's?

Who was the informant on Jane's death cert.?

Just i find it strange that they werent mentioned on Jane's death certificate as Eliza who had already died was and stated as deceased so why werent the other noted.

At this stage im leaning toward these kids mentioned above were not Jane's.
I will keep looking tho

On myheritage on familysearch it comes up as william, jane jr, richard & edwin being Jane & William (also called george) children.

A distant relative who desends from Charles (who i can find) also sent me a little research shes done.

The informant on her death was a James Jarry who would have been janes son in law.

I also find it odd they where omitted from her death certificate maybe they had died years before & jarry never knew them

Her marraige certificate says she had 9 kids all together, 5 living and 4 dead.

I know prior to her marraige to both lewis & grimsdale she had married a Issac hare in england & had a son also named issac who i suspect died in england.

Just bear with me but i have some questions please.
