Cemetery index.

McCoubrie - Laurie Mabel - D 13 Feb 1909 age 21yrs
McCoubrie - Loudon D 30 Aug 1943 (also 2 others)
McCoubrie - Martha Jane D 12 Mar 1944

Longley Anglican - Kingsborough - Hobart

Its a shame there isn't an age for Loudon and Martha.

The Mercury (Hobart, Tas. : 1860 - 1954)(about)
Tuesday 31 August 1943

McCOUBRIE.-Passed peacefully away on August 30, 1943, at a private hospital. Louden, beloved husband of Martha McCoubrie, 25 Fraser St., New Town, and loved father of the late Laurel McCoubrie, aged 67 years . (Late of Longley.)

That makes his year of birth around 1876, to young for Dave's fella

Hello Julie,

Thanks.

Some things fit and other don't but I think it has to be the family:

Index to Unassisted Inward Passenger Lists to Victoria 1852-1923
Family Name First Name Age Month Year Ship Port Fiche Page
MCCOMBRIE JAMES 9 NOV 1863 COMMODORE PERRY B 226 006
MCCOMBRIE LINDEN 7 NOV 1863 COMMODORE PERRY B 226 006 [2?] **
MCCOMBRIE MARGT 32 NOV 1863 COMMODORE PERRY B 226 006

Image has age 7 and says 'Scotch.' 'Wife and child.'

Regards,

Dave

Thanks gibbo. :)

Not a common name so that's one ruled out.
