 I am looking for a RObert SHard who was born in St Helens Lancashire @ 1880.

Also his first marriage. Wifes name unknown. She died young. Date of death unknown or place of burial.

Posible St Helens Lancs. Robert was a coalminer.

Robert then remarried in 1912 to a lady called Elizabeth Shard.(yes same surname ) but no relation .

Any information on him or his family would be appreciated.

Thanking you inanticipation.

Ecclescake.

Hi Ecclescake, (nice tasty 'nick' by the way!:))

Have you not tried the 1881 census at FamilySearch ?

Anyway, did a quick search for: SHARD England, Lancs == found the following:

Other Information:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Using the HOUSEHOLD Information we get the following:

Hope that helps! Hopefully it is the right one! If it is I would suggest getting an actual copy of the census, to verify the information, then take it on from there,
All the best,
