Looking for info on Duncan McNaughten approx birth 1738

As I research my family I am getting stuck at Duncan McNaughten, born approximately 1738. He later married Mary Wedderspoon, they had several children together, John Malcolm McNaughton b 1768 is part of my line.
Can anyone help me verify the correct Duncan's parents were Donald and Issobel?

I have moved this to Scottish Genealogy Roots Forum as Duncan and Mary married in Scotland.
