Hi Michael,

If you just sit tight for a little bit your name will turn green now that you have posted more than 3 times, once your name is green you can then send alanrvc a private message.

Heres a link to a british phone book online, might be helpful.

Hi Mike, thanks for the message on facebook, I believe the Mirko (Michael) Blazekovic your looking for is indeed my father which would make you my cousin and Alan my half brother. As for anything about Franjo and Janko I can't really help there at the moment as to be honest I hadn't heard of them until I got your message. I spoke to my Grandad (on my Mum's side) last night and he remembered Dad saying about being in Australia, that he was with someone at the time and there being a car. My Dad said that he spent time 'breaking rocks' and dynamiting for fish while in Aus although my grandparents weren't sure how much of this to believe as some of the things he was saying sounded a bit far fetched.

What questions did you have? I should be speaking to my Mum at some point in the next few days so she should know a bit more about things.

Anthony

Hello Anthony,

welcome to FHUK.

After several moderated posts your nick will turn green and the PM (Personal Message) system will be available and you may place your email address in a PM to Michael.

Just post three messages. :)

Regards,

Dave

Hello Michael,

As you can see 'AnthonyB' was here and despite prompts and messages he has not posted again so his nick will remain blue until he has made 3 moderated posts.

Sorry, but nothing more I can do.

Regards,

Dave

To Alanrvc,

I have just found your comments and the other members comments regarding finding your grandparents.
I am in the process of doing research for a book on Janko Blazekovic who died in 1974 in Port Hedland Western Australia. There may be a connection. I have not got a DOB yet but it could be 1945 or thereabouts. I knew him and was involved with his estate after he died. If you get this I would appreciate contact.

Thanks

Patrick Richardson
