Ellen B C Jones is more difficult as there are too many possibilities. you will need her fathers name to narrow the search His name should be on their marriage certificate. I did not see a B Jones born in Eastbourne are but there are several eg 1943 wrexham , 194 Halifax and 1943 blackburn

William Hemsley married 4q 1910 eastbourne 2b 149

same reference so almost certainly married to one another.


I cannot publish 1911 census findings but look for this couple in Eastbourne in 1911. this should give you the ages and placs of birth to work backwards through the census to 1841, thence to parish records. if you are really lucky they were always in eastbourne!!

in the census I referred to, it has the name mistranscribed as Himsley, William aged 24 born 1887 Framfield Sussex a carman and kathleen same age and year of birth born Mayfield Sussex
