I am attempting to trace William Anderson Moodie (Born Fettercairn 30/04/83).
Last details I have are: 1929 (10th March). William Moodie, 45 (passenger 175071), previously 5 Hill Road, Arbroath, departed from Port of Greenock on the Canadian Pacific ship, Montrose, heading to port of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada (Third class passenger, No 57).
Not accompanied by wife/kids.
1911 census as follows:
MOODIE WILLIAM ANDERSON, M 26, 5 Torphichen Place, St Cuthbert, Haymarket, Edinburgh.
William Anderson Moodie, 26 Grocer, shop assistant
Georgina Effie Moodie, 24 born Forfarshire, Arbroath
Mary Humphrey Moodie, 4, born Forfarshire, Arbroath
Ada Anderson Moodie, 2, born Midlothian, Edinburgh
I cant trace wife and kids via emigration but there are no further records in UK (eg deaths/valuation rolls etc).
Any advice or assistance much appreciated!
Jim
