Lost Relative.

I am still looking for Charles Stow, born 1828 Margate Kent.
I wonder if he migrated to America.
Could you give me a site where I could look.... I have found one, but There is none around the time frame he would have left.

Do you know who or when he married at all?

There was a Charles Stow baptised in 1828 in Thanet, Kent son of John and Jane Stow. I cannot seem to locate him on the 1841 or 1851 census though.

Hi Ben. I know Charles Stow's Baptism and his parents. That's all I know of him. I was wondering if he died young before 1837, or if he emigrated to USA. I have searched for him in Australia and New Zealand, as he had a sister who went to N.Z. and a brother came to Australia.


Ben, I Put the wrong name on the Grant Post I sent, I have Edith Amelia... It is Edith Annie. Her mother is Amelia..... Sorry.... I shouldn't do this in the middle of the night.

hi c.daniel,i can only find 1 burial record for a charles stow but the child is only 2 and its in suffolk......sorry!

I hope you are still there. Regarding Charles Stow, who died at the age of 2 in Suffolk, England. Do you know if it was in Ipswich? If it is there could be a connection, that's where he's father was born, and his grandparent's lived there as well. Hopefully they were still alive. Something may have been wrong with Charles and sent to Ipswich.
If the death was in 1830-31 even better. Could you send me the information please. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks for all the Stow's from Polstead, but No connection.
Mine start with John Stow married Elizabeth Cook, 18th October 1774 at Saint Mary' Stoke, Ipswich, Suffolk, England. That's all I know.
