I don't think I am using this forum as well as I should. I am intrigued by why Edward died so young 29. An accident, disease, or was it from his job as a coachman? I have searched till I am blue in the face but it seems that you people have found out more for me and I thank you all for your support

Since there is no cause of death found anywhere the only way you will find out is by obtaining his death certificate. You can purchase these on the below link.

Looks like Emma registered Leonard in her maiden name 1880 she married George Frewin in 1891. I got the name Leonard Frewin from a census record, I think! If Leonard is registered as Stiff looks like I must record that

Emma registered Leonard under the name Lovewell. Its not uncommon for a step child to take the step father's surname so he may have used the name Frewin but his birth was definitely reg. as Lovewell.

LOVEWELL, LEONARD Mother's maiden name STIFF

Thanks for that, I will be in London in June so I will visit Kew records and maybe be able to get the certificate or at least view it when there.
Thanks again I just used the link you sent and could not find his death or birth recorded looks like the info I have is incorrect.
