Mainland Europe, Russia, Asia, Middle East all on the same land mass.

What fascinates me is the sheer size of the land mass which houses mainland Europe, Asian, Russia and the Middle East. France and Thailand are 5000 miles apart but on the same mass of land, you can walk from Paris to Bangkok. And Russia is so vast it borders Norway and North Korea, about 6000 miles apart.

Whether it would be possible, I haven't got a clue, but there is a land connection between Egypt and Israel which could allow the possibility of driving from Cape Town in South Africa up to Egypt, through Israel/Iraq/Turkey/Georgia and into Russia from where the decision to go West or East on that land mass is available! The mind boggles!!
