I have just had a reply from the Manchester United Archives, that my Cousin David Burgess had the catering contract for MUFC, at various times,from c1950 to 1964.
Busby babes and beyond.
A bit more colour in the black and white picture.

Shame that, as I'm an Arsenal 'supporter'.

My father-in-law is a Burnley fan, he was born and bred there. So you are not alone.
Like a lot of of 'industrial' football clubs, they all had a great following. Sadly now, it's down to the same 4/5 teams year in year out. And thats coming from a Arsenal fan.

My great gran came from Islington in London and I think that is where the Spurs interest comes in. Also I have some London ethics that Londoners have as my great gran is my mums, mums mum so she is on my direct female line and even though I am a man, you inherit your female line mtDNA male or female.
