Mansell or Mosson

Hello I live in B.C. Canada and my great Granfather William Mansell b 1844 in or around London married Sarah Brown b 1849 who was not accepted by William's family so they immigrated to Canada around 1866 and never communicated with any one in England again. I would sure like to here where I could possibly go to find his or hers birth announcements.

On the 1871 census there is a William Mansell born abt 1844 born Hammersmith Middlesex with wife Sarah born abt 1847

The 1901 canadian census has a William Mansell in the Province of Manitoba, district Brandon born abt 1844 England with wife Sarah and children , Charles, Elizabeth and Lucy.

The year of immigration is 1882 for William and 1883 for Sarah, there must be a mistake as the eldest Charles was born Ontario in 1882, are these yours?

I havnt looked through all the 1851 census for Sarah Brown born Hammersmith but came across the above. Will have another look through

As Sarah Brown is a common name its hard to determine which one she is on the birth register. The marriage certificate for William and Sarah will give fathers names and occupations.
