Margaret was born abt 1847 in Co Clare, Ireland and arrived with family in 1855:

CHERRY Margaret 8 'Mangerton' 1855 Sydney and/or Newcastle and family Reel 2137, [4/4792]; Reel 2471, [4/4952]

NSW marriage 6024/1882 MACKENZIE JOHN A - CHERRY MAGGIE AGNES MARY - ARMIDALE

August 1893 is the last reference I can find for Maggie.

Hi,

I'm very new to this forum, so I'm not exactly sure how it works.

Is this thread still active? John and Maggie are relatives of mine (the marriage certificate number matches the information that I have). Maybe we can swap information, as we don't know much about Maggies or Johns life.
