Im confused as to why he had started using the name William, then i wonder if i have the right fella but bit of a coincidence having a Benjamin Perry on the same passenger list as the Bennet's??

Yeah i seen that census last night but wondered about it, who is Martha L? To old to be Benjamin's sister Martha as she is younger than Benjamin. Maybe this Martha L is a cousin??

I can't find a baptism that fits for John around 1810.

Ditto Charlotte around 1820.

Perhaps neither were baptised near the pob given in the census.
