No luck so far Steve.

Plenty of Beirne births in Cheshire and Lancashire after 1867 but none with a mmn to fit.

No sign in census in England nor 1901 Irish with a husband that fits. 2x Margaret in 1911 Irish as head of house with children but can't tell.

Several are Malachi.

There are a couple of newspaper articles from Ireland with a Malachy Beirne mentioned. Not sure if he is your fella or not, nothing else mentioned in them to help confirm.

British newspaper archives .. I don't have access so this is the most I could get.

Published: Saturday 29 January 1881
Newspaper: Roscommon & Leitrim Gazette
County: Roscommon, Republic of Ireland

James McDermott (Treanamarla) Malachy Beirne (Tnllaghan); Richard Frazer (Derrycashel)
