1939 Register
102 Hassocks Road, Mitcham M.B., Surrey, England
Others in household
Margaret Patterson 09 Oct 1856 Unpaid Domestic Duties Widowed

I'm interested in Margaret. Possibly born in Ireland and name of spouse unknown.
I don't have her death yet or have her in any census, England or Ireland.

This is probably a son.
Civil Reg births:
William Joseph Patterson
Jan-Feb-Mar 1895
Reg Dist: Belfast
Ireland
Vol 1, Page 355
FHL Film Number: 101065

Thanks,

Dave

Age does not fit for Margaret if 1939 register has been transcribed correctly.

1901
Residents of a house 3 in Saint Anthony's Villas (North East Ward, Cork)

Patterson William Joseph 6 Male Son Reformed Presbyterian Belfast Scholar Read -
Patterson Margaret Mabel 3 Female Daughter Reformed Presbyterian Belfast - Cannot read -

How close is that address to St Josephs Terrace (Ballyhooly Rd) Cork ?

This one is in the NE of the city
Saint Anthony's Villas, Old Youghal Road, Montenotte

Old Yougal Rd crosses Ballyhooly Rd just north of St Joseph's Ter.

Thanks Emeltee.

I didn't get round to looking at Margaret when we did the rest of the family.

I'm reasonably sure I have the right family in Irish census.

May not be easy finding a death for John Patterson.

Anne H = Hamilton.

irishgenealogy.ie has the birth records for William Joseph and Margaret Mabel and both records give the mmn as Graham.

The same site also has the following marriage in Lisburn on 18 January 1893

John Patterson/Margaret Graham

John is a Bookbinder, father William Patterson a Miller
Margaret's father is james Graham a Farmer
Witnesses William Joseph Patterson and Mary Eleanor Graham.

Looking for a Graham family in DED Ballymacbrennan in Townland Cargyeroy who are Reformed Presbyterian.

There are several but no married James (farmer) or widow if James had died by 1901.
