FUNERAL NOTICE.-The Friends of Messrs. WILLIAM WATERS and FREDERICK GILBY are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral of their deceased Father, William Gilby, to move from his residence, Goodna, at 3 o'clock THIS (Wednesday) AFTERNOON, for the Goodna Cemetery.

But there is no sign of Maria there also. So far I can't find anything in TROVE for Maria. I'm after her place of death and burial.

I found a photo of William's headstone just on the off chance Maria is buried with him and noted on the headstone but not noted in the online indexes. But she isnt.

Have you checked Brisbane cemetery? I cant get into it, the cemetery site is been stupid

I know. The BCC site seems to be down almost every weekend.

Everything i find on Maria just says she died 1909 in Queensland. No place is mentioned.

That notice is missing a married daughter :2fun: and they both died after 1980.

My tree was missing 2 daughters because the name in the reg is GALL.

2 daughters married JENNERs and 2 daughters married TIERNEYs.

Marriage 1936/B25301 Tierney Vincent Francis - Goll Luise Ida


That's one of the very few where I know the date of burial at Bethania Lutheran Cemetery. Lots of MIs with date of death but few burial dates known.
