Hello cp,

Thanks for looking for Maria in 1871 and for Edward's death.

Is the one in Chelsea in 1911 single? And is the Institution the Pensioners Hospital?

Regards,

Dave

Hello cp,

Yes I think so. ;) The CARTER - PERDRIAU etc.. are all connected in some way with the navy. That's why I questioned the single army pensioner and wondered if he still showed as single in 1911.

Can't see a death for a George Cockburn.

Regards,

Dave

Hello cp,

Thanks. A different spelling of his middle name.

possible
Deaths Sep 1914
Bryant William R 75 Brentford 3a 143

Yes Edward N C DAVIS so if only one initial it should be N.

 Ok, I just made it to the wally corner in time for the party. :2fun:

What time is it? Ok that's the bride's brother.

Hello cp,

Thanks.

I can see the C in front of Davis. It should be an N but it has a huge curl. It does not look like the H in Henry. I can understand you putting a ? ;)

Dave

Hello cp,

That is curious. We have it as Carter after his mother.

Births Mar 1851
Davis Edward North Carter Portsea I 7 179

I wonder if that is an error by the informant taking his father's middle name for the C.

Dave

Hello cp,

Thanks.

George. :)

Well the age at death fits that birth reg. :2fun: I would have bet on Carter after his mother rather than his father's middle name.

Regards,

Dave
