Found this a few days ago but dismissed it now it's got me thinking. It seem's like orphaned children were sent to Australia by some church charities and although I don't think Marian was orphaned she may of thought so. Interesting that she was in UK at St Andrew's Church and married at St. Andrew's, Scot's Church, Sydney, are they connected?

Thanks Keith.

No, I think the St Andrew's bit is coincidence.

Census 6 June 1841.

Marriage in Sydney 12 Aug 1841.

Average voyage duration 90 days.

An almost impossible fit.
