marriage between Edward White & Elizabeth??

Please can anyone please help me find a marriage between Edward White(my Grandfather) and Elizabeth(I have no maiden name). I can find them on the census in 1891 living at 3, Gamuel Road,Walthamstow London,where they are a married couple. On the 1901 census Edward is living in a pub at 120, Bethnal Green Road London. Here he states he is single but living with Maud Wood ( My Grandmother) and they have a child together,Edward 1 years old.In 1903 Edward and Maud (she now calls herself Alice Maud) were married and he declared he was a widower! I have looked but cant find any marriage for Edward & Elizabeth and it is all a bit of a puzzle to me. I would be very grateful if anyone has any ideas.

Edward is 23 in 1891 born Strand London
Elizabeth is also 23 born St Clement.

On the same census page is a James White stonemason.

There are loads of Edward White's one possible -Edward White. there is an Elizabeth Crouch on the page 1887 June qr Holborn 1b 994. Does Edward have a middle nsme?
There is a death for an Elizabeth White 1900 age 33 Sep qr Panceas 1b 15
That is a possibility with the age. but there aagain there are quite a few Elizabeth White's. Good luck

Edward didnt have a middle name .I will look these up.Thanks again for your help
