Hi, have you had any luck with the scotland marriages as yet? try records@gro-scotland.gsi.gov.uk. i emailed them and i got the info i was looking for, but my marriage i was looking for was in the 1940 era and i had a possible place for it so that may have made it easier, but they could be worth a try. good luck
