Married names: Irene Marriner + Wear

County Durham
Hi (I'm new at this, please bare with) I've came to a brick wall. I have uncovered my great grandma who's name when she died was Irene Wear however this was her second marraige. I think his name was William. He first marraige was to James Cole Marriner who was killed at the age of 32 in 1945. Irene was born around 1907 in Hetton Le Hole, Durham.
Can anyone please help me with a maiden name or her parents ect?
Hi and Welcome..

I'm wondering if this is his birth.
James C Marriner
Mother's Maiden Name: Rowell
Date of Reg: Jul-Aug-Sep 1914

Page: 1211

This looks like William and Irene's marriage..

This is curious:

Marriages Mar Qtr 1938
Marriner James C -Howard Watford 3a 1756
Marriner James C -Calvert Watford 3a 1756

#COMMENT entry reads HOWARD or CALVERT for spouse name
Births Sep Qtr 1938
Marriner James -Calvert Watford 3a 1682

After this one there are MARRINER births in Durham with mother's name CALVERT including some after 1945.
From a tree which may or may not be correct:

Irene Calvert
Born: Howden Le Wear, Durham, England
Died: Blackpool & Fylde, Lancashire, England

Marriages Dec Qtr 1929
Calvert Irene -Rimmer Fylde 8e 1273
Rimmer Edwin S -Calvert Fylde 8e 1273

I'm stuck at the moment.

Two marriages seem to be missing. I can't explain the CALVERT or HOWARD bit. I can't explain why only one RIMMER birth with mother CALVERT.

Do you have age at death for Irene?

Don't know what is going on Geoff.

I've looked at all the births in Houghton for an Irene 1903-1909 and can't find a marriage to HOWARD or CALVERT. I'm wondering how many times Irene married.

So far I've found the following two in Hetton-le-Hole in 1911

Irene TAIT - with parents
Irene GOYMER - with grandparents

Births Mar Qtr 1907
Tait Irene Houghton 10a 557

Births Jun Qtr 1907
Goymer Irene Houghton 10a 594
Names missing from this one:

Calvert James -Howard Haslingden 8e 266
Pickup Helen -Barnes Haslingden 8e 266

Ok that one is ruled out:

When we know name and place of death.
