I'm almost sure it's him, but suppose we'll never really know ;)

During all the research, I've discovered another researcher for their son Henry, who I'm almost positive was the Silversmith who emigrated to South Africa in 1820 with his wife Mary Heatrell and son Edward Henry and daughter Mary Ann.
Why I'm sure??? Edward Marshall had an apprentice in 1803 called William Heatrell!! Too much of a co-incidence to not run with that!!
I've contacted her, so am eagerly waiting a reply :)
