The below might be useful??

Between the 1851 and 1861 census there was a child born and lost. [The one that Geoff had posted in #3]

They lost another child later the same year.

Off Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Farquhar_Tupper

Martin Farquar was the eldest son of Dr. Martin Tupper (1780–1844), a medical man highly esteemed in his day who came from an old Guernsey family, by his wife Ellin Devis Marris (d. 1847), only child of Robert Marris (1749–1827), a landscape painter (by his wife Frances, daughter of the artist Arthur Devis).

Died Nov 1889 – married around 1835 to 1st cousin once removed – Isabella Devis daughter of Arthur William Devis and they had 4 sons & 4 daughters.
