TAKES NEIGHBOR'S WIFE
A DIVORCE GRANTED.
While he was away on active service in January of 1918, Martin Richard Phillips married his wife, Jane, in Edinburgh. He returned to Western Australia three months later, and having got his farm at Dowerin in order his wife came out and joined him in September of 1921. ...
... On February 15 last she left him and came to Perth.
Through Mr. F. Curran these facts were related to Mr. Justice Draper in the Divorce Court this morning, when Phillips was granted a dissolution of his marriage, and an order was made against Anderson for costs.

Marriage #1180 PHILLIPS MARTIN R Male NOBLE VERDIE L Female PERTH 1926

It would seem from the 1925 and 1926 E/R that there is no connection between Lisle and Jane. The marriage of Martin to Verdie seems to have been very soon after her divorce was finalised.
