Hello,
Marriage 1157/1905 STORRIER ARTHUR J - LEE MARY A - COWRA
Death 9238/1908 STORRIER ARTHUR J - WILLIAM - LOUISA A -DUBBO
The Dubbo Liberal and Macquarie Advocate (NSW : 1892 - 1927) - Wednesday 22 July 1908 p.2
DEATH OF MR. STORRIER.
We regret to report that Mr. Arthur Storrier, of Storrier's Hotel, passed away on Saturday night, at 10.30, the cause of death being heart failure, though the other contributing causes were a complication of ailments. The late Mr. Storrier, who was 47 years of age, had been in Dubbo about three years, and his second wife predeceased him a few months ago. He leaves a family of two sons and a daughter. The remains were interred in the Dubbo cemetery on Monday morning, the service at the grave being conducted by the Rev. Father Cooney.
Death 2640/1908 STORRIER MARY - JOHN - MARGARET - ORANGE
The Dubbo Liberal and Macquarie Advocate (NSW : 1892 - 1927) - Wednesday 19 February 1908 p.2
DEATHS
Another death reported on Monday was that of Mrs. Storrier, wife of the licensee of the Globe Hotel, which occurred at Orange, where she had been nursing her husband. Mr. Storrier had been at the above-named place for some time, and his wife was attending upon him. She came to Dubbo on the occasion of the fire brigades' demonstration last month, and it was with some surprise that it was learned that she had succumbed to an attack of pneumonia.
I wonder if that was the 2nd marriage for Mary and if we can find her birth.
Regards,
Dave
