There is an error somewhere. Either the BMD and newspaper notice are wrong or the cemetery and tree is wrong.

NSW Death 2657/1927 McCLOY JANE - SAMUEL - MARY - HORNSBY * 28 Mar 1927

The Sydney Morning Herald - Tue 29 Mar 1927 p.10
DEATHS
McCLOY.–March 28, 1927, at her residence Carnralla, Peats Ferry-road, Hornsby, Jane, beloved wife of Thomas McCloy, aged 68 years.

How do you tell which one is correct? I know of errors in the BMD index and I know of errors in cemetery records and I know of errors in trees.

The Qld. Archives is not working for me. It says there are no results for McCloy on the Assisted list.

Ok it's working now and no Mary or Annie on Assisted to Qld. list.

Thanks Val.

No Mary or Annie McCloy/McClay on Assisted to NSW list.

They arrived at least 3 months after Thompson's death in Oct 1883.

Thomas’s brother Richardson on Vic Assisted passenger list age 18 from London arriving Adelaide Nov 1889 on ship “Iberia”

the 2 Annie’s are on 1903 ER for 361 Bourke street Darlinghurst – both dom duties

might be something – can you check passengers on ship “Arawatta” - 3 Sept 1894 – from Brisbane to Sydney on NSW Unassisted Passenger List – I can see a Mrs Mccloy & a little further down a Miss Mccloy – above steerage...
