No marriage for John Dunn to Catherine Murphy.

No birth for Mary Ann as Dunn or Murphy.

No death for John Dunn.

No marriage for John Dunn to Catherine Murphy.

No birth for Mary Ann as Dunn or Murphy.

No death for John Dunn.

If this is correct, John and Catherine were already married when they arrived:

Catherine Dunn
Birth Year: abt 1816
Age: 25
Arrival Date: 16 Sep 1841
Vessel Name: Gilbert Henderson
With a John Dunn [20], parents = James & Catherine [both living]. Farm Labourer. b. Kilkenny. RC.

Catherine's parents = Patrick & Margaret Murphy. Dairy Maid. b. Kilkenny. RC.

If the info in post #5 is correct, John was a shoemaker, not a farm labourer

Geoff

The 1853 death/burial [John Dunn] can't be right if the arrival is correct, because that age = 50y, John was b. c1820, of course it could be an error with the age
