Samuel and Ann in 1851 had two boys George and John Rendall with them noted as Samuel's son in law. They were actually his stepsons, from Ann's marriage to Robert Rendall. This is the Rendall family in 1841.

Robert Rendall married Mary Ann Wills 24 February 1831 in Ilminster.

Robert was buried 22 November 1841 in Ilminster.

That clears up one thing.

Throughout all the Censuses Ann gives her pob as Ilminster. I cannot find a baptism for a Mary Ann Wills but there is this one
