Thanks Ellie.

I think this is the marriage:

James DALTON & Martha TURNER
17 Jun 1806 West Molesey, Surrey
Batch: M004581

I presume that's the 2nd for Martha. I don't have the 1st yet.

Ok, now I'm lost.

How to explain Emma & Ellen.

I can't find a birth/baptism for those two assuming they are sisters not half-sisters with mother = Martha and the same father.

More than one daughter:

The Sydney Morning Herald - Wednesday 6 January 1897 p.1
Golden Wedding.
AYLING - DALTON.-January 6, 1847, at the Independent Church, High-street, Wandsworth, Surrey, by the Rev. J. E. Richards, John, eldest son of George Ayling, of High-street, Wandsworth, to Mary Ann, younger daughter of James Dalton, of High-street.

Assuming parents are James and Martha and that it is the family in 1841 that I posted then we need it seems two or three marriages.

Ellen & Emma nbic.

All Saints Wandsworth Surrey
Martha daughter of James and Martha DALTON of Wandsworth. Born 17th Aug 1811. Baptised 8th Sept 1811. Buried 20th Sept 1812.

Yes Geoff, not daughters.

So, if the 1806 marriage is correct then perhaps Ellen & Emma are Martha's nieces.

I think it was my ISP. I've sent them 7 emails in the past 2 months and they have not effectively answered the queries. They are in the process of being taken over by a larger ISP.

I have baptisms for 5 children at All Saints Wandsworth but not one for Mary Ann.
