• Family History UK policy on the posting of census transcriptions:

    British Census images and data are Crown Copyright.

    The National Archives has relinquished Crown Copyright on documents within its control provided certain conditions are met. Basically you must ensure that the information is accurate, in context and you are required to include
    (a) an acknowledgement that the record is in the care of TNA
    (b) the full reference of the document.

    Where you have posted information that is Crown Copyright, you MUST add the following statement:
    "This information Crown Copyright and is from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk"

    You MUST also ensure you remove any details that identify the transcription as being from a particular subscription site,

Could someone please find Mary Ann Evans in the 1891 and onwards Censuses, although she was 65 in the 1881 Census.

The 1881 census shows (in Charlton Kings, Glos)
1881 Census
108 Park Street,
Mary Ann Evans, unmarried, Head 65 Schoolmistress, Glos
Marian Brunsdon, unmarried, Lodger 66, dressmaker, Glos, Cirencester

1871 Census
Mary Ann Evans, lodger 53/19 Park Street unmarried 55 Schoolmistress, Glos.

1861 Census
Joseph Evans, 24 Park Street, widower 75 Retired nurseryman of Eldersfield, Worcester
Mary Ann 45 unmarried daughter Seamstress Gloucester
Jane Powell, Lodger, widow, Laundress, Bedingham, Summer, Charlton Kings.

Her parents lived in Park House and the nursery was called "The Nurseries" in London Road.
