Hi

Looking for Mary Ann's death/burial.

Both in West Ham 1911, Charles d. 1930.

Any pointers/ideas appreciated.

Many thanks

Thanks, Amanda.

It has to be a front runner, there are a couple of others in the correct area [assuming she stayed in West Ham after 1930] that are close that I haven't eliminated yet.

Deaths Q1 1913
Goodwin Mary A
46 W Ham
4a, 132

Deaths Q1 1939
Goodwin Mary A
71
Essex S.W.

[Before 1935 included West Ham]

nothing to do with your query but interesting :-

the 1911 census says 9 children born alive, 6 living, 3 died but there are 9 children listed in the household as if they were all there on census night.

Two sons and a daughter have no occupation given and in fact it seems from death indexes that these children, Violet, Oliver and Samuel, died as infants.

Nice that they were still remembered almost 20 yrs on.

Thanks, Elaine.

When I first saw that 1911 census I was surprised and found it misleading as I was finding their offspring had birth and death reg's, yet still recorded in the census. That said, once the census image was understood it became clear. In a sense it was helpful because it was clear proof.
