The birth for Malcolm Mc can be ruled out.

Problem with no hit in SP for marriage or births of children - may have been twins.

James had 9 siblings and they all died in NSW so don't know why it says Melbourne papers.

FS does not have 1901.

Not 1909 Nepean - Granville * I looked that up at State Library years ago.

Was thinking this for 1881, but Kilmarnock is about 25-30 miles SW of Glasgow?

Ok this explains the 1851 census. Her mother remarried and all her children have a new surname in census.
