Hello,

Second possible family - parents Henry and Sarah:

Births Dec 1843
Ruddle Mary Ann Taunton 10 469

I'd like a look up please for that family in Devon in 1851.

Regards,

Dave

Thanks for looking Julie.

Thanks for looking Barbara.

Mary Ann married in NSW in 1863 so it looks as though I'll have to get a copy of that marriage and hope it at least lists her father.

Henry's spouse is said to be either Sarah FISHER or HILDER. I don't know where that variation comes from. I don't know if it means Sarah had married previously or if that is the result of difficulty reading the name say from Mary Ann's marriage certificate.

I can't see a marriage in England 1830 - 1844 that fits.

Hello Woody,

Thanks for looking further. So many possible variations with this name.

Other researchers say Devon but Henry & Sarah so I don't really know.

I hope I can find the marriage on film the next time I go to the library.

Regards,

Dave
