** note: George and Mary Aunning were married in the Garrison Church 12 August 1844. It is believed
that Mary came on the same ship but some seven years later as a supported person from
Limerick Ireland. At the time Mary listed her age at twenty-nine. She was not on the passenger
list but was most likely a steerage passenger, and therefore not listed. Her likely arrival date was
in the closing months of 1841. By this time the Fairlie was no longer used for transporting
convicts but was part of the fleet used for the emigrant program from Ireland to Australia.

George – Aug 1881 – 68 yrs
