Trying to confirm a marriage between James Welsh & Mary Anne Burgess. Married about 1831. They had a daughter Mary who married a John Blessington. I have a copy of Mary Blessingtons Death Certificate and it states parents as James Welsh & Mary Welsh.
Any help would be appreciated

For the peeps Mary married in 1858 Bradford Yorks
to John Blessington.
Mary is 20 in 1861 with John in Bradford, born Ireland 1841c
and 1871 no further birthplace in Ireland.
1901 has a Mary & John together, her birthplace Mayo.

Thanks for your reply. I have that information. I was hoping that someone may be able to confirm her parents names for me.

I can hope. As you have probable seen I have been trying to find them for years. Gave up researching for a while as I was getting so frustrated.

If you think that James and Mary married c 1831 in Co Mayo, and you know their exact denomination, you could go through all the surviving parish records for the county to see if you can find the marriage. There are about 30 parishes in Mayo but since a lot don’t have records for the 1830s the search may not be so big. There is a fair possibility that you may not be able to find the marriage due to lost records.

If they were RC, then here's a link which will show you all the parishes in Co Mayo, what records survive, and where they can be accessed. (You can also try writing to the local parish priests, but in my experience many are inundated with genealogical requests and often don't have the time to deal with them. You may not get a reply).
