Not found in later census. Baptised in Dunham Massey in 1874.

Death reg maybe under Bucklow Dist.

I've found a Mary Graham born 1874 Dunham Massey in 1891 working as a Scullery Maid for a Clegg family in Dunham Massey

RG12/2824/F141/p37

After that she disappears. There is one possible marriage Dec 1899 Bucklow 8a 305 to either David Jones or John George Nash. I've found a John Nash with wife Mary in 1911 and the birthplace is wrong. I can't find a David Jones with wife Mary yet. Will keep looking but there are a lot of Mary Jones'

No sign either of a death anywhere for a Mary Graham of the right age.

Forget the marriage to David Jones - I've just found it on fs - she was a 43 yr old widow, maiden name Williamson

Hmmmm. There is a marriage for a Frances Graham to a James White 24 Sept 1893, Altrincham. Fathers name, James Graham.

1901 & 1911 census Frances gives her p.o.b as Altrincham.

Harry Edgar White b1896, Altrincham. mmn Graham.
Laura White b1893, Altrincham. mmn Graham.

Well spotted. Must admit that as she had been down as Mary in the Censuses I didn't think to look for Frances.

It does seem to pan out, but the actual marriage and a child's birth cert will be needed.......so it's all in pencil at the moment.

Daughter, Emily Helen White(1906), seems to tie it all together, with her marriage to George Pearson in 1930.

In all honesty, it was a bit of blind luck.......I searched the 1939 register with just Mary F. ? ? ?.......1874, and Altrincham, and up popped Mary F White......then I searched for her death and marriage.

It may seem she wasn't enamoured with Mary as a first name.:2fun:
