Mary b. 6 Dec 1797 Brede, Sussex
Josiah POLHILL & Mary

I can't find that to confirm the date and place and that it's a birth not a baptism.

Both Thomas and Mary were born Brede so I'm curious why the family was removed to Guestling. It appears Thomas was behind in the rent on the house they were living in.

Thanks Geoff.

I hope the weather improves. At least the garden will be ok while I'm away.
